Moroccan cuisine is a mix of Berber, Arabic, Andalusian, and Mediterranean cuisines. You can find here a large range of  Mediterranean vegetables and fruits.Spices are used extensively in Moroccan food.Common meats include beef, goat, mutton and lamb, chicken and seafood, seasoned with lemon pickle, argan oil, olive oil and all spices like cinnamon, cayenne pepper, anise or cumin and herbs like mint, oregano,verbena or parsley.

A typical meal includes cold salad, and tagine or couscous.Beef, lamb and chicken are the most usually eaten meat, and the consumption of pork and alcohol is uncommon due to religious restrictions. You must taste another Moroccan dishes like Pastilla,Tanija or Harira soup.

Don´t forget to ask for a Moroccan mint tea,  a green tea prepared with spearmint leaves and sugar.
